Optimize DSL Internet Speed

If you want to Optimize your DSL connection speed,

1) You need to go to Start, then "Run".
2) Type in regedit in the box.
3) Next, go to the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\VxD\MSTCP
Search the string DefaultRcvWindow .
Change the value to 64240 then restart your computer.
Original value is 373360(For restoring if any problem occured)

I think there may be a Update for Windows XP which modifies this registry value. I have to look up more.

OK! why dont you do 1 thing.You select the branch and then say export and save a .reg file.Then upload it here!Then all we have to do is double click the .reg file and it is done.This is a simpler method!
