I use Site Build it for my website. They walked me through step by step on how to build my pages using top ranking keywords. They also help you figure out the best way to monetize your site depending on what your site is about. You can look at my site as an example. I don't have a store yet, but eventually I would like to. I am getting hundrends of unique visitors a day and I just started in February. So I am very happy with the results I have gotten. http://www.the-best-homemade-gift-ideas.com For more info on Site Build it see my profile. Hope this is helpful to you. Good luck!

Hey, I believe the best/cheapest route to go would be the following:

1. Cheap hosting is great, but the trick is to find a host that is also reliable. Otherwise, you can get everything set up, people buying, and then your hosting starts flaking out on you ruining your startup business.
With that said, I would suggest http://www.GotHosting.org as they have been really reliable for me.

2. Go to paypal.com and sign up for a merchant account (free) and you can then go to there merchant section and you can auto-generate html for your paypal button. Then just add it to your site.

3. I would go with some free software that you can install easily like zen-cart. You can, with gothosting.org, go to their cpanel and instantly install this software. Then all you will have to do is input your paypal account email and the store will make the buttons for you. Zen cart is only one example of several you can install with just a couple of clicks in cpanel at http://www.GotHosting.org

4. Good traffic is best found organically for most start-up sites. Start going to other forums and helping people out with clothing tips and add your site to every other clothing related site or directory you can find. You can also have services submit your site for you for about $100 but it's much cheaper (free) to do it yourself. You can go to other clothing sites and leave comments about other deals you've found and point them to your site.

5. Keep your site fresh with some articles or unique content. Then make sure you update your sitemap with google webmaster tools. The more unique content you have the higher ranking you'll have with google/yahoo etc.

Hope that helps!

Try http://eventurebiz.com

Hosting: They provide which includes free programs like osCommerce which easily integrates Pay Pal Checkout.

Web Design: They provide web design if you can't create the website yourself.

Incorporation Services: They will also incorporate your business at a decent price.

Teaching: There's a teaching element to their site. They have a forum and the ceo runs a blog where they talk about search engine optimization, web development, marketing and basically ideas of being a successful web entrepreneur.

Very helpful.

The best web host can only be determined by you through due diligence. Looking at a companies features and their track record/portfolio is a great way to back up your selection.
The top hosts can answer all of your questions, provide the tools to build your site, analyze your work for optimal performance, assist in setting up paypal, help to submit your site to the search engines, assist in building quality content for better then good website traffic and offer all the tips for running and maintaining your site.

I have found the following process to be most beneficial. First compare several hosting companies feature-by-feature. This will help to eliminate the ones that can not meet your needs. Once you have done just that, you can begin to compare the companies dollar-for-dollar. Using this process will ensure that you get the best match for your needs and the most value for your money.

BEST WISHES!

For the most cost-effective, easy to work with, and reliable host, I recommend Dreamhost. DreamHost is awsome for ecommerce.
http://www.dreamhost.com/hosting.html

Their standard price is $119.40/year ($9.95/month if you pay yearly) but by entering the promo code DISCOUNT50PROMO at sign up page you can get a $50 discount. This way you get them for $69.40/year instead of $119/year.

Price: $5.78/month ($69.40/year)
1 free domain forever
Disk space: Unlimited
Bandwidth: Unlimited
Unlimited domains and subdomains
% 99.9 reliable
24/7 technical support
1 click install of many platforms including WordPress

I would recommend the host I'm with now Domains at Retail. They have a product you can purchase on their entitled Quick Shopping Cart. It's pretty intuitive to set up and it includes the cost of your hosting.

Here's the link:
http://www.domainsatretail.com/quickshoppingcart.html

Once it is installed, it integrates with PayPal as option for taking payment.

To get good web site traffic, you need to run PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising like Google Adwords, get Organic Search Results in Google, and get many sites linking back to you.

Hope it works out for you.
