Well its not possible to edit the rfes file however Wordpad is the only thing I believe.

This member knows more on it In fact he has written a tutorial on it but I dont know if he posted it here, if I come to know that its here I'll give you the link.

And to edit wordpad as usual is a bit dangerous, hexeditor works fine.

I dont thing we need a tutorial on this. There are mostly colour codes in rfe files so you can change it by hex editor but dont change other things like x axis because we have to change them carefully and you might dont know more about these things.

I don't think so that we really need a hex editor for this. Wordpad is fine but if you prefer Hex editor than it can be downloaded from our downloads center.

I recommended hexeditor because I messed the file with Wordpad/notepad once.

Dont use Notepad or Wordpad! as bibu said I also recommand to use hexeditor as in place of symbols, dots there is sometimes shown space in notepad and when we will edit something it will corrupt our file so it's best to use hexeditor. There are many reasons to use hexeditor which I can't explain here.
