I'll agree with shreyas here.
Yet another drawback with Vista is that it doesnt support o-edit because the latest version of o-edit came in 2004.No updates from there.
All latest software applications and games run great in Vista.

Vista used to have some problems, mainly with drivers and software compatibility, but now it's two years later. So for a new system I would recommend Vista (most of them already have it installed anyway), but for an older system I wouldn't upgrade since XP is still great and somewhat faster.

No windows has defeated Windows XP not even Windows 7 can. Windows XP was the biggest success for microsoft and that's why it has the longest Lifespan.

Ya that's right. I think Microsoft should work on updating Xp with new features instead of developing new ones.

Vista looks nice. Great interface. SP3 is more durable. In my opinion much better.
